MMIB – the Master Programme in International Business Management is the flagship master programme in the Faculty of International Business and Economics (REI), within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE).

With diverse cohorts, we put together people in the first stages of their careers with middle managers, employees in multinationals corporations with public administration servants, start-up owners with bankers for synergistic knowledge building in a creative environment . Our students work in diverse fields, from innovation to finance, creative arts and IT.

Partnerships and Opportunities

We are partnering with PwC Romania and Edenred Romania to bridge the gap between theory and practice and to provide training input from practitioners outside the university.

Full courses are held on their premises, designed from zero by their specialists in collaboration with professors with international expertise.

Our Philosophy

The Vision of the Master Programme: to increase the worldwide recognition of its students, graduates and teachers, to enhance the respect for the national and international academic community by focusing on the quality of teaching, learning and research, and to the needs, expectations and aspirations of students and teachers.

In order to reach our vision and our mission, we reach towards Our Objectives:

– the enhancement of the knowledge level in the studies of international business;

– the development of the competences required for decision making in an international context

– the provision of the necessary skills for suitability to middle and top management position in international companies and organisations

– the expansion of the skills related to the selection, analysis and synthesis of real market-specific data

– the training in proper communication techniques for optimal intercultural communication skills in a professional environment

– the study of international business strategies in their creative use in real micro- and macroeconomic contexts.

Our Mission

We have a Mission: to enhance the ability of the students

– to create and run a business profitably in an international market,

– to advise and consult companies in the global market

– to coordinate non-governmental organisations, projects and activities in public institutions in a global setting

– to participate in the coordination, management and implementation of diplomatic and consular missions

through specialist training and transfer of interdisciplinary knowledge.

To achieve our Mission, we focus on:

– training the students at levels comparable to top-ranked master programmes, from the teaching methods, availability of materials and studies, learning infrastructure

– establishing partnerships with public and private institutions, organisations and companies to provide students with trainers, mentors and internships. Our official partners are PwC Romania and Edenred Romania, and we also collaborate with OMV Petrom, the Romanian National Bank, ImpactHub, TTS…

– providing real internships, connecting with current requirements of the business environment, and thus enhancing the possibility of finding better employment after graduation

– creating a culture of quality and responsible and ethical behaviour through the continuous involvement of students in the academic community
